  1. Philips Steam Generator

Ive just finished my ironing in record time and thought Id share it with you.

Im currently testing the Philips Steam Generator GC 7220 as I am a Bzz Agent, which means I get to trial new products (normally for free) and give my feedback on them, and share my experiences (good and bad) with others.

The system itself looks a bit bulky, but once set up its as easy to use as a normal iron, the first time I used it I didnt notice much difference in my ironing time, but today Ive almost halved the time I spent ironing :) It also has the added advantage that if you have clothes on hangers you can steam them hanging up - although i havent tried this, it also works for steaming curtains too.

I did find it quite noisy at first, when it first starts and it is pumping water to the iron it can be noisy but after a while you get used to it, I tend to watch TV whilst ironing so had to turn it up a little louder but no major deal.

You fill the tank with water when you first start, and that is plenty for me to complete my ironing, normally I have to fill my usual steam iron a few times during one ironing session.

These irons are on offer in www.argos.co.uk  at the moment and if anyone is interested I have some £20 off vouchers too. Apologies to those of you in the US who cant use them

Let me know if you have used a similar one and how you got on. Also if you are interested in becoming a Bzz Agent, they need people in US and Canada too, then the link you need is:
