Hi,

I've tried to play Minions several times and I get the error "Can't connect to Port 8080, you may be behind Firewall."

 

Here is my setup.

 

I've tried it on FF3 and IE7.

Turned off Vista firewall.

Went to my router and added port range 8080 to 8081 to open range in security and gaming tab on a linksys.

 

Is there anything else I can do to try to play Minions?

 

None of the above has worked.

I think that changes to the site are being made and all games are off line right now.

It's not just you!

seems to be a problem with games and chat currently

chat just never stops loading...

times like these make me wish old chat was still an option *sigh*

BEFORE I spent all evening trying to open port 8080.

 

well, will try back tomorow to see if it was worth it.

  I do the same thing happened ..... first with the port after 9339 and 8080 with ..... I was 2 days ... is a matter of time (I think) because when I created the two ports could not play and suddenly the other day whether, and now I can not again grrrrrrr ... must be a central problem of the connection

grritters need to set up some 24/7 monitoring :)

I am unable to play any multiplayer games on thsi site. I get the "port 8080 is blocked" message, but nothing I do seems to affect that. I've tried disabling firewall, and changing settings.

It has been this way for me since the first day CC 2 was opened to CC 1 members (When I came here)..

Is there something tha t iam missing to specifically unblock port 8080, or am I just unlucky?
