I read 'Im westen nichts neues' a long time ago, but remember it to be a very impressive book. Even though I heard someone say lately that it romanticizes war, I actually think it gives you an idea of how little sense there is in killing each other. So my vote goes to that one.

All quiet on the western front is gonna win since it's the only book that is required to be read in school on that list. (i think)

I actually have an original copy of that book that belonged to my grandmother!
